नायिका जेसिका खड्काको आत्महत्या प्रकरण सेलाएको छ तर पटाक्षेप भइसकेको छैन । जेसिकाकी बहिनी प्राप्ति पोखरेलले दिदीले आत्महत्या गरेको नभई गर्न बाध्य बनाइएको दाबी गरेकी छन् । दिदीसित जोडिएका दुई व्यक्तिविरुद्ध किटानी जाहेरी दिने तयारीमा छिन् उनी । जेसिकालाई दुई साताअघि राति आफ्नै कोठामा सलको पासो लगाएर झुन्डिएको अवस्थामा फेला पारिएको थियो । त्यसलगत्तै प्रहरीले उनका प्रेमी भनिएका बालदीप राईलाई एकसरो बयान लिएर छाडिदियो । प्राप्तिले आरोप लगाएकामध्ये एक उनै बालदीप हुन् भने अर्का हुन् गोकुल सुवेदी । प्राप्तिको भनाइमा यी दुवैले लगातार दिएको ‘टर्चर’ असैह्य भएर नै जेसिकाले आत्महत्या गरेकी हुन् । उनीहरूमध्ये पनि मुख्य दोषी भने बालदीप भएको उनले सौर्यसँगको कुराकानीमा बताइन् । ‘म दिदीसँग भएका बेला बालदीपको फोन आउँथ्यो । फोन राखेपछि दिदी रुन्थिन् । उनी भन्थिन्, ‘हेर न नानी † त्यो बालदीपले मलाई श्रीमान्ले दिएको जस्तो टर्चर दिन्छ ।’ जेसिका र प्राप्ति दिदीबहिनीका छोरी हुन् । जन्मेदेखि नै जेसिकाकै घरमा बसेकी प्राप्तिले काठमाडौं आएपछि पनि दिदीले सबै कुरा आफूसित सेयर गर्ने गरेको बताइन् । दिदीको बालदीपसित कुनै प्रेमसम्बन्ध नरहेको उनको दाबी छ । यता, बालदीपले भने जेसिकालाई कुनै किसिमको ‘टर्चर’ नदिएको बताए । ‘हामी दुवै एकअर्कालाई माया गथ्र्यौं,’ उनले दाबी गरे, ‘हामीबीच विवाहको कुरोसमेत चलिरहेको थियो ।’

कलाकारिता क्षेत्रमा प्रवेशका लागि संघर्षरत गुल्मीकी कस्तुरी खरेल अबसरको खोजीमा छन् । भरखरै दस जोड दुई उत्तीर्ण गरेकी कस्तुरीले राम्रो अफर आए चललिचत्रमा खेल्ने बताउछिन् । सेक्सलाई प्राकृतिक देनका रुपमा लिने कस्तुरीले यसलाई अनौठो रुपमा लिनुपर्ने आवस्यक्ता ठान्दिनन् । उदार मनकी कस्तुरी भारतीय अभिनेत्री प्रियङ्का चोपडाबाट प्रभावित छन् । कला क्षेत्रमा प्रवेशका लागि आफू शारीरिक शोषणमा नपरेको कस्तुरीको भनाई छ ।

 नेपालमा यौनका विषयमा खुलेर कुरा गरिँदैन। यौनका बारेमा जति चर्चा गरिन्छ, या त त्यसलाई असाध्यै जटिल बनाइन्छ, या अति नै हलुका।  फलस्वरूप यो कतिपयका लागि चर्चा गर्न अयोग्य विषय भएको छ भने धेरैका लागि अतिरञ्जित विषय। फ्रायडले धेरै अघि मानिसका सबै जसो क्रिया यौनमा आधारित हुन्छ भन्ने व्याख्या गरिसक्दा पनि फ्रायड पढेको नेपाली बौद्धिक वर्गले पनि यसलाई स्वीकार गर्न सकिरहेको छैन।  यो गम्भीर विषयमा मनोविज्ञ करुणा कुँवर भने प्रस्ट छिन्। १२ वर्षदेखि मनोविज्ञान त्यसमा पनि पारिवारिक तनावका विषयमा अध्ययन- अनुसन्धान गरिरहेकी करुणा, नेपालीको यौनमनोविज्ञान जटिलतातर्फ उन्मुख हुँदै गएको बताउँछिन्। नेपालीहरूको यौन व्यवहार एवं त्यसले  सिर्जना गरिरहेको तनावले धेरै युगल जोडीको वैवाहिक सम्बन्ध टुट्दै गएको उनको अनुसन्धानले देखाएको छ। जर्मन मनोवैज्ञानिक दोरोभी वे नरकी शिष्य करुणासँग यसपटक साप्ताहिकले नेपालीहरूको यौन मनोविज्ञानका विषयमा खुलेर कुरा गर्‍यो।

A 42-year-old woman has notched up more than 1,000 lovers, and had already chalked up 40 by the time she was just 17.

Crystal Warren, a retail manager from Brighton puts her sex addiction down to witnessing the painful breakdown of her parents marriage when she was five-years-old.

'People don’t usually associate sex addiction with women,' Crystal told the Daily Mirror. 'We’re normally the ones accused of making excuses before the lights go off but with me it’s different. I think about sex all day.'

The Marriage that Started with an Accidental Email

Who knew having similar email addresses could potentially lead to marriage? That was the case for Ruben P. Salazar and Rachel P. Salazar, who began exchanging emails after Rachel's co-worker accidently sent Ruben an email.

In January 2007, Ruben, who lived in Texas, forwarded the email to Rachel, who lived in Thailand, thus starting the beginning of an endless email chain. "I was excited that this person was halfway around the world, it was kind of like sending a letter in a bottle," said Ruben.

After eight days of being with each other, Ruben proposed while the couple was out dancing one night. "I knew right at that moment: I need to say something or do something so that I don't lose her, so I got down on one knee and asked you [Rachel] to marry me," he said.

Risheeka's 'nude' poster under attack

Risheeka Singh has come under fire for appearing naked in a poster for her latest film. Risheeka - who features in the publicity stills of her latest flick Yaaradre Nangenu caked in dry mud sans clothes - was pulled up by women activists at the muhurat of the film recently. Alleging that she was in the nude in the posters, the group said that the poster portrayed her in a bad light. The event had to be conducted under police protection to prevent any untoward incident from taking place in the presence of industry bigwigs like Ambareesh.

Risheeka remains unfazed by the unexpected turn of events and the flak she has received for her look. "The posters are a direct lift from the opening shot of Yaaradre Nangenu. In the scene, my character has been beaten up by the villains and, assuming that she's dead, they bury her in the deserts of Rajasthan. But I return to avenge my humiliation and exploitation. The still is from when I come out of the pit in which I was buried," says Risheeka.Yaaradre Nangenu, adds Risheeka, is a woman-centric film and her family is proud of her role in it. "My director father Rajendra Singh Babu and my actor brother Aditya have given their consent. So why I should I care about what others think?" she asks and adds, "My team won't have hard feelings if the film gets an 'A' certificate because of the still. The script demands it, so it's completely justified," asserts Risheeka.
